WHY POETS 4 PEACE?

Our blog has given us a platform to discuss complex world issues with nuance, and we are hopeful of dissolving barriers by sharing our diverse perspectives and fostering understanding. There is much work ahead, but word by word, we can get closer to harmony.

MEET JACOB AND TERRY

Hey, I am Jacob Doyle, a 32-year-old writer and activist residing in Manchester. As co-webmaster of Poets 4 Peace alongside my mate Terry, I merge my love of writing and activism on issues like inequality and sustainability. I met Terry when we organised an environmental protest back in university. We bonded over our shared passion for environmental justice and activism. It was through our late-night discussions on how to drive change that Poets 4 Peace emerged, a space that will document our views on environmental and political issues, as well as share some titbits on wellness and mindfulness. Terry handles the site design and tech side of our blog, while I focus more on crafting our written content and messaging. Together we hope to build a community and platform to advocate for the changes we wish to see in the world.
